The Greater Johnstown Alumni Association, a volunteer organization of graduates and friends of Johnstown Central High School and its successor, Greater Johnstown High School, is committed to projecting the tradition and the pride of our high school years into a viable support arm for today's students. As an alumni association, we will renew old friendships and create new ones as we work on programs designed to help develop the high school of today and its leaders of tomorrow.
Much effort is being put toward including as much historical information as possible for this webpage. We hope you enjoy looking back at the history of the School District and the very special people that passed through the doors.
During the course of any given school year, events, including fundraising opportunities, are sponsored by educational and extra-curricular student groups, as well as parent and booster organizations within the Greater Johnstown School District.
While we understand that fundraising enhances our school programs, we also want to make you aware that it is possible to be approached by a student or an adult who may be misrepresenting the District.
If, for any reason, you feel that you have been approached by anyone misrepresenting the District, please do not hesitate to contact either the involved school or the District Administrative Office.
