how do I get home the greater Johnstown school district has partnered with Communities In Schools of Pennsylvania since 2018 currently offered these programs at every school in our district since we have launched these programs we have seen so many successes students and parents are more engaged we've seen it and it's increases at all three schools and lower end chances of behavior in fractions as well when there is a need or a crisis I know I can pick up the phone and call the sea is team and they will find a solution even during the darkest days of the pandemic rgj Communities In Schools team has been there to support our students and their families and our entire Community from Distributing technology to basic needs like food and clothing she is has navigated this new normal with us and develop new strategies to reach our students this year we were able to create three new positions at each school that are focused on re-engagement determining how fast to bring our students the school and also providing whatever additional support is needed to help them remain in school is the foundation of the student services team in all of the work that we do having the support a bar cispa staff has been transformational for our school and for the health and mental health of our teachers guidance counselors and even our administrators RC is team is able to build relationships with our students determine their barriers and attending school and address them individually giving every student the support necessary to stay in school and take advantage of the opportunity to discover their passions and determine a career path for their future Edition this support allows our teachers more time Xbox ability to teach a high-quality well-rounded curriculum will prepare our students for Life After High School
