Greater Johnstown teachers are engaged in their work beyond the percentage levels of the world’s high performing organizations.

Johnstown teachers demonstrate deep knowledge of their content areas and sophisticated teaching practices.  Beyond those important factors, Johnstown teachers understand the emotional side of a child’s growth and development and work well to provide unconditional support for each and every one of our community’s children. 

For so many reasons, we are thankful to our professional staff and those who work to support them.  Though they are too humble to seek it, we must give them positive recognition for all that the do for our children, families, communities, and businesses.

During the week of May 5-11, 2013, our nation rightfully takes time to salute teachers during “Teacher Appreciation Week.” 

Please join us, the Greater Johnstown School Board, and our business and community partners in cheering for the work of America’s most important people: our teachers!
