Hockey Alumni Game

The Alumni game is played between any and all past JHS Hockey alumni vs. this seasons Varsity players. ANY player (in good standing) who played in at least ONE varsity game this season can play for the Varsity in this game. Therefore, as many current players as possible are encouraged to attend and participate in their "final" game as the 09-10 team. Coaches who wish may also participate and play for the Alumni team It is a good natured fun event for all to celebrate JHS Hockey past and present. Also a great photo opp for those who desire. We have been holding this end of season event for a number of years. I'll have pizza and soda at the conclusion. There is no charge to watch this game from the stands.

Trojans fall to York Suburban in first round of state playoffs.

Varsity Hockey team loses in overtime

The Trojan Varsity Hockey team jumped out to a 2-0 lead vs. Central Cambria in their LMHL playoff game only to see their opponents take a 3-2 lead into the 3rd period.  Craig Cassick then scored the Trojan's dramatic tying goal with 5 minutes remaining to send the contest into overtime.  Luke Kmett got the assist for his second point of the night.  The first overtime period remained scoreless but at the 2:49 mark of the second overtime period C.C. was awarded a goal after the puck appeared to be covered in the goalie crease.  As the Trojan Varsity season ends the student athletes can be very proud of their own inspirational and relentless play throughout this 2009-2010 season. Congratulations!!
