LADY TROJANS BEAT PANTHERS
In the second game of the season and the home opener for the Lady Trojans had the Penn Cambria Panthers visiting the Trojans. The Lady Trojans controlled the aggressive Panthers from the tip to the final whistle. The Lady Trojans scored and impressive 44 points while holding the panthers to 19. The Lady Trojans where not a one girls show in fact they where a very balanced attack with six girls in scoring figures. The Lady Trojans where lead in scoring by La’Tavia Butler with 16 points, Madison Mckee added 9, Kristen Rodgers and Lexi Lindrose added 6 a piece, and Jontazia Henderson and Robin Madison rounded out the scouring with 4 points a piece. The Lady Trojans where also given key contributions by Chelsea Gregley and Baylee Seminsky.
LADY TROJANS BEAT HUSKIES
Greater Johnstown Junior High Girls started the season off on the road with a great win over a physical Bishop Carroll team. The Trojans won 26 – 22 over the Huskies. The Trojans where lead in scoring by Lexi Lindrose with 18 points. Jontazia Henderson controlled the glass for the Trojans grabbing several key rebounds.
Lady Trojans end season on winning note
The Lady Trojans rapped up their season with a 3rd victory of the week by beating Cambria Height 32 to 29. The Lady Trojans were again, as they have all season, led in the scoring column by Janay Myers with 10 and Tashayla Smith with 8 The Lady Trojans finished the season with 7 wins, 3 consecutive, and 12 tough & hard-fought loses
Lady Trojans make it two in a row!
Lady Trojans made it two in a row with victory over Central Cambria on Tuesday at West Side Elementary. Johnstown shut down Laurel Highlands Section 1 foe Central Cambria 37 – 19. Leading the scoring for the Trojans was Ikeiah Burns with 10 and Tashayla Smith with 8.
The Lady Trojans pick up their 5th win of the season
The Lady Trojans picked up their 5th win on the seasons by beating the Ferndale Yellow Jackets 53 to 19. Leading the scoring again for the Trojans was Janay Myers with 11. Ikeiah Burns and Madison McKee pumped in 9 points apiece. Lexi Lindrose and Robin Madison each had 7. Lady Trojans play Central Cambria at home Oct 26. Go Trojans.
