Patrick Murray
Junior High Boys Basketball Head Coach
Pat Murray enters his second season coaching in the Greater Johnstown School District. He has been coaching basketball for 5 years. He began as a volunteer assistant for University High Boys Varsity basketball team in Morgantown, WV. This is Coach Murray’s second season as the Johnstown Trojans Boy’s Junior High team’s Head Coach. Coach Murray’s objective is to teach his players the proper techniques and fundamentals of the game of basketball. It is also his goal to stress the importance of having fun, working as a team, and having his student-athletes reach their maximum potential as basketball players and young men.
Coach Murray is a 2002 graduate of Bishop Mccort High School where he lettered in Basketball. Mr. Murray attended West Virginia University until graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education K-12. Coach Murray has been employed as a Health and Wellness teacher by the Greater Johnstown School District for the last four years. He resides in Stonycreek Township.
