JHS receives the 2010 Global Education Excellence Award

The award is national recognition for High Schools that demonstrate a commitment to international awareness and foreign exchange.  It shows that the district promotes international understanding and welcome students from thought-out the world.  It recognize the fact that exchange students over the years have been welcome and accepted by the administration, staff and students.  The Greater Johnstown High School has shown a true understanding of the importance of international exchange and the development of worldwide relationships.
