Prom Announcements
Attention Juniors and Seniors: If you plan on taking a date to the prom who is out of high school, you will need clearances for him/her to attend. The clearances can be picked up in the main office, room A204, or Room B204. Please don’t wait til the last minute. Some of these clearances can possibly take up to 6 weeks to get back. Prom is Saturday, MAY 12th.
The junior class is currently having a fundraiser for prom. They are selling magazines and cookie dough. All orders and money are due by Thursday, March 1st. The orders will be delivered to the school the week of March 19th. An announcement will be made when the items can be picked up.
FAFSA Night
JHS will conduct a second FAFSA Night at JHS on March 29th at 5pm in the JHS Library. The first event was a tremendous success and due to numerous requests, JHS will conduct a second night for those who could not attend previously.
Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Night for GJHS students scheduled for March 15th
Pennsylvania Highlands Community College will be conducting an Open House for parents and students of the GJHS. This event will explore the various educational offerings available at Penn Highlands and will discuss the benefits of participating in dual enrollment courses while in high school.
