Sanders selected to attend 2010 NFHS National Student Leadership Conference

{image_1}The PIAA has announced that Deanna Sanders, a sophomore at JHS has been selected as one of twelve student-athletes from Pennsylvania to attend the 2010 NFHS National Student Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana July 15 through July 18. 

The NFHS National Leadership Conference provides a forum for student and adult leaders to discuss contemporary issues facing education based athletics and activities.  Through interactive, large and small group discussions, these leaders will learn to promote: respect, positive values, sportsmanship, teamwork, healthy lifestyles, community service, and provide respect.

Deanna is currently in the top 10 in her class with a 3.86 GPA and plays on the Varsity Volleyball team.  She is the daughter of Devon and Kerri Sanders.
