Our objective is to provide all Greater Johnstown High students access to the technological tools necessary to thrive and compete in the changing face of global economics, connectivity and communications. Our students are no longer competing with local high schools! They are competing against students from all over the globe!!

Students at Greater Johnstown High School in the Greater Johnstown School District are benefiting under a new program that is transforming their education from the traditional textbook, chalk and blackboard experience to one that utilizes computers, the Internet and enhanced technology.

"We are constantly seeking ways to best prepare our students for success, certainly in the classroom, but for life beyond their days in high school," Greater Johnstown Superintendent Mrs. Barbara Parkins said. "That's why we are extremely excited to bring Classrooms for the Future to Greater Johnstown High School. Our students will have the types of tools necessary to enable them to increase their current rate of achievement and provide them a solid foundation to build upon while pursuing a college degree or a well-paying high-tech job."
