Greater Johnstown High School Key Club
Welcome to the Greater Johnstown High School's Key Club Website!
The Key Club is a service organization for high school students. The Key Club operates under school regulations and draws its members from the student body. The club is a unique organization because it is sponsored by a local Kiwanis club, composed of the leading business and professional people of the community.
Key Club's objective is the development of initiative, leadership ability, and good citizenship practices. It functions not only on a local level, but on a district and international level as well. This highly developed structure provides programs, literature, and the opportunity for students to relate to other teenagers from across the globe. Key Club is the largest service organization of its kind.
As a member of Key Club, a person is expected to complete at least 5 hours a month (or only 3 hours if you are involved in a sport or the school play). That same person is expected to complete 1 Kiwanis hour per school year. The Kiwanis hour can be obtained by going to special Kiwanis events.
The purpose of this website is for Johnstown High School Key Clubbers to be able to check up on the latest hours and events available to them. Also on this website is important links for Key Club, important E-mail information, and even information on convention.
