Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast/Bake Sale

On Saturday, April 5th the Kiwanis Club held their 50th annual Pancake Breakfast. Members of the Key Club joined the Kiwanis Club in assisting with the fundraiser. Everyone pitched in by selling and collecting tickets, bussing tables, and serving beverages. The Greater Johnstown Key Club was responsible for running the Kiwanis Country Store, which the Kiwanis Club graciously turned over to the Key Club this year. The home-made baked goods were sold at the Store to raise money for the various service projects that will be completed throughout the year. A donation from the proceeds will be made to a community member who recently lost everything in a house fire. During the breakfast the Key Club once again expanded their Pennies for Patients campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by taking collections and placing donation buckets on the tables.
