The Greater Johnstown Middle School located at 280 Decker Avenue.

What are the costs?

• $70.00 for students who reside in the Greater Johnstown School District.
• $140.00 for all other students.

What are the expectations for my child during Summer School?
The Greater Johnstown School District has set the following expectations for your child during the summer school sessions:

• Arrive on time and be prepared. Review registration forms for times of both sessions.
• Students will only be permitted to miss one day of summer school. If your child misses more than one day, a doctor's excuse will be needed. Two late arrivals will equal one absence.
• Students will enter and leave through the auditorium doors, and their teachers will escort them to their appropriate classroom.
• Students will not be permitted to wait outside. Once they arrive, they must report directly to the auditorium and remain seated until further directions are given.
• Students will not be permitted to leave the building for any reason including lunch. Students who are staying for both sessions or having lunch, will be required to eat lunch in the middle school cafeteria.
• The Greater Johnstown School District will utilize a zero tolerance policy. If your child is removed for any behavioral issues or absenteeism, no refunds will be given and the student will not receive credit. In this case, a letter will be sent to the attending school district with a failure notice.

June 10-12 at the Greater Johnstown High School from 8:30am-3:30pm

If my child is taking a web-based course, can they just work from home?
NO! All students must attend a morning or afternoon session and complete their work under the supervision of a certified staff member. However, students can work on assignments from home after their session.

Can I pay with a personal check?
NO! Only money orders or cash is accepted.

If my child is removed or leaves the Summer School program, am I able to be refunded?
NO! No refunds are given.
