Safe2Say Something

In June, 2018, Governor Tom Wolf signed school safety legislation as part of a response spurred by the February 2018 horrific shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida that killed 17 people. Act 44 mandates the establishment and use of the "Safe2Say Something" (S2SS) Anonymous Reporting System by every Pennsylvania school entity beginning January 14, 2019.

Class of 2019 Baccalaureate

Baccalaureate was held at the Johnstown High School auditorium on May 22, 2019. A special thank you to Jeremy Barkley from Oakland United Methodist Church for his inspirational message to the students that you resemble what you are around, so remember to find people that encourage and support you. And a special thank you to Johnny Bayush from Flood City Church for his inspirational message and reminder to the students to be like an eagle, and soar above the storm.
