A Day in GJSD Cyber Academy
Cyber students have the flexibility to build a daily schedule that works for them. GJSD Cyber Academy offers both synchronous learning opportunities and asynchronous coursework, allowing students to learn at the times that best meet their needs.

When does my child complete schoolwork?
Students complete work each school day at their own pace and may organize their learning schedule around the times that work best for them.
Does the program include live learning?
Yes. GJSD Cyber Academy offers synchronous learning along with asynchronous coursework.
Are live meetings required?
Students must complete one face-to-face wellness check with staff each week. Beyond that weekly check, students have flexibility in how they organize their learning schedule.
What technology is provided?
Cyber Academy students receive new Chromebooks to support their online learning.
Can Cyber Academy students participate in athletics and activities?
Absolutely. Cyber Academy students remain GJSD students and are encouraged to participate in district athletics, clubs, programs, and other activities.
