With a partnership with Extend Campus Cyber, Greater Johnstown Cyber Academy offers flexibility paired with comprehensive support to ensure students are equipped to achieve their educational goals. Parents/guardians are also provided with a robust suite of tools and reports to enable them to fully support their student's education.
Unique Opportunities
Greater Johnstown Cyber Academy students benefit from the flexibility of an online learning program and the unique opportunities provided by the school district.
- On-campus Drop-In Center located at our Park Avenue School @ 625 Park Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15902.
- Cyber Instruction may be delivered synchronously, asynchronously, or through a combination of both methods, at the discretion of the teacher based on instructional needs.
- The procedures and criteria for evaluating instruction delivered in an online format shall be consistent with those used for teachers in traditional brick-and-mortar classrooms.
- Live office hours for help or reteaching
- Students can receive face-to-face tutoring and support from an Extended Campus Learning Guide and have a quiet place to complete coursework at their site located in Downtown Johnstown.
- Career training opportunities are available through Greater Johnstown High School's approved vocational programs of study.
