High School After School Program

Johnstown High School

Afterschool Live (ASL) is the after-school program at the Johnstown High School.  A collaborative effort between Greater Johnstown School District, the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC). ASL provides a safe environment for students from school dismissal until 5:20 PM.  ASL runs from Monday through Thursday and does not operate Fridays or early dismissal days. Bus transportation is also provided.

ASL will assist high school students with their homework and Credit Recovery which will help in meeting the requirements of graduation, receiving their high school diploma and preventing students from dropping out of school. The academic guidance and personal attention each student will receive increases the chances for success in the basic core subjects such as Math and Language Arts to benefit themselves, their families and the community.

All students enrolled in eighth through twelfth grades are eligible to attend. If you would like your child to attend ASL, please fill out the referral form on this site and an after school program staff member will contact you. Or you may fill out the registration form on this site and send it to the Johnstown High School, 222 Central Ave., Johnstown, PA. 15902. Attention, After School Program.
